Tyler Bryant (born January 23, 1999, Amarillo, TX) pitched collegiately at Oklahoma Panhandle State, Lake Erie College, and Ottawa University, including a stint as a graduate assistant pitching coach at Ottawa. His professional journey began in 2023 with the Empire State Greys of the Frontier League—the MLB-partnered independent circuit—where he made 19 relief appearances, threw 24 innings, and struck out 31 batters with a 4.13 ERA
On December 20, 2023, Bryant was assigned to the Québec Capitales in the Frontier League, advancing his independent-league resume from the Greys.
His performance captured attention quickly: on June 13, 2024, the Milwaukee Brewers purchased Bryant’s contract from Québec Capitales and assigned him to their Arizona Complex League (ACL) affiliate, launching his journey into affiliated baseball. Shortly after, he was promoted to the Carolina Mudcats and then to the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers over the summer of 2024, steadily progressing through the Brewers’ farm system
